After the country being terrorised by notorious bandits the voice of a man called Stevie Wayne was welcomed by all. Over the past year, with the help of four friends Stevie Wayne had been gathering the necessary equipment and fixing antennas on the mainland to get a radio station up and running.
Whilst fixing antennas Stevies friends and brother disappeared, this posed a problem. Knowing the rumours and stories of the bandits Stevie needed protection. Stevie ventured into the main land and came across a well trained man by the name of Douglas. He was armed, could shoot and after spending a month together Stevie trusted Douglas to provide protection.
As the months past, with the radio proving to be popular amongst the survivors the group grew. With more security and a farmer to provide food, the group were able to take requests and enforce rules on the island they now claimed.
One the mainland across from Skalisty Island a barrel with a pen and paper was placed for survivors to leave song requests. Located on the side of the barrel were some strict rules, not following these would cost a survivor their life.
The group set out to meet survivors and spread the word of Stevie Wayne and the Elektro Radio. Proving themselves to be friendly, fair and not a group to not take any trouble they started putting up posters all over the country. These attracted both the good and the bad but with security so tight and being located on an island they managed to survive.
The group came across a variety of survivors, the majority were upfront and nice people, some not so much. After being so successful with the defence of their island the group started defending the survivors on the mainland, the only problem was that they let some people leave alive. After holding up a group, accusing them or evil crimes such as torture and murder Douglas made the mistake of letting them not only leave alive but also with some information. A group of ‘red armbands’ were roaming the lands and doing evil deeds. Although Douglas did not seem to fear them he made it clear just how bad these people were. A few days later a head appeared on the beach, stuck to a pole with a note that read ‘Stevies next;’ a red armband lay close by.
The island went on lock down, security was upped and the radio broadcasts became less frequent. Some of the island members went looking for those who left the threat, some returned and some did not. By March 2017 the radio had not been heard by a survivor for months. Survivors who have met Stevie, one of his men or see a poster on a wall still look for the group. As of yet, there have been no sightings. Some say they are dead, some say that they are in hiding. Only time will tell, one day a body will turn up be it dead, walking dead or alive.
